Hello Awana Parents & Families!

A Note from Our Awana Commanders

By God's grace through leader and parent support, we are excited to kick off another year of Awana! Our club meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM, running from September through May. To ensure a safe and effective leader-to-child ratio that fosters strong discipleship, we have limited spots available.

If the age group you want is full, don't worry - register on the waitlist! We'll contact you in order of registration as spots open up. If you're interested in becoming a weekly leader, your children can join the club right away! We ask our leaders to be involved in a Bible study or worship service and to be committed to spiritual growth through worship and repentance. Interested? Email us at ccbcawanaclubs@gmail.com.

Not sure if Awana is for your family? Just ask an Awana parent! Many initially worry about fitting it into their busy schedules, but the passion and growth they see in their kids makes it worth the time. That's why families return year after year.

Awana Annual Cost Q&A

Have a question about the yearly fee? The answers below cover the most common ones. Please reach us at ccbcawanaclubs@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Charging for individual items separately was confusing and created extra administrative work for our families and our secretary. A flat fee makes it easier to plan for club and quicker to get through opening night check-in. Keep in mind the many costs NOT included in the fee calculation (Awana Games equipment, club registration, lesson guides, the Awana Store, candy and prizes, Awards Night, popcorn/ice cream nights, Christmas goodie bags, and more) - taken as a whole, the yearly cost per child actually exceeds the $55 rate.

The $55 flat fee covers a book and any awards/patches/jewels for the year, plus a uniform and bag when your child enters a new club level. It does NOT cover replacement uniforms or bags (e.g., a Sparky who outgrows their vest, or a lost Trek bag), replacement books if one is lost or damaged, or extra credit/review books - those are charged at cost when needed.

We would still ask that the $55 be paid. Remember this is an averaged cost - even if you're paying more than you get in supplies one year, the next year you'll probably pay much less than what you're getting. It also helps you plan and budget for each annual cost. The same applies if your child is only in Awana for part of the year, since the uniform, book, bag, and awards are typically earned and taken home within the first few weeks.

Yes - if needed, you can make arrangements with our Club Secretary to determine the best payment plan for you. If we have your email address, we can send automatic reminders and billing through Square. Please note that awards will not be given if a child's fee is not paid by Awards Night (unless previous arrangements were made).

We do not want fees to become a barrier for your family. If needed, let us know how much you are able to pay, and we may be able to waive some of the fees.
